Draft build. 1 placeholder on this page must be filled before launch. A production build fails until they are.
This is a plain-language summary of what a PanelCraft licence permits. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Per-user licence#
A licence is for one named user (you). You may install PanelCraft on your own computers up to the device limit of your licence. Your licence is personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred. For multiple people, each user needs a licence.
2. Plans#
- Basic: design, parts lists and cut optimisation.
- Pro: Basic plus pricing, quotes and clients.
- Studio: Pro plus room-photo view, machining export (DXF/CSV) and team features.
Basic, Pro and Studio are sold monthly or annually. The licence lasts while your subscription is active.
3. Trial#
The first launch starts a 14-day trial with all Studio features. After that, paid features need an active licence. Without a licence, the features of the plan are not available.
4. Offline use and licence checks#
PanelCraft works offline. The app checks your licence online from time to time (about every few days). If it cannot reach the licence service, it keeps working for a grace period, [GRACE PERIOD: the spec default is 10 days after the last successful check, configurable 7 to 14]. After the grace period without a successful check, paid features stop until the app can check again. Your project files remain on your computer and can still be opened by you.
5. Activation#
Enter your licence key in the app (File menu, License). The app sends the key and a device identifier to the licence service to activate it. If a licence is revoked, expired or has reached its device limit, the service refuses activation.
6. What you may not do#
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble PanelCraft, except where the law allows despite this restriction;
- modify the software or circumvent, disable or tamper with licence checks, trial limits or the system clock to extend a licence;
- share, resell, rent or sublicense the software or your licence key;
- remove copyright or other notices;
- use it to break the law.
7. Your work#
Your designs, files and exports are yours, whatever the plan or licence state.
8. Ending the licence#
The licence ends when your subscription ends or is refunded, or if you breach these conditions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period.
